About ISAL institute
The Institute has been established by the Slovenian Group Analytic Society in 2004 as a unit of the Society. In 2011, the Society founded ISAL as a separate institution with the purpose of training in group analysis.
While maintaining the highest professional standards of analytic psychotherapy, we espouse equal rights and oppose social discrimination.
The Institute does not have members but associates who as group analysts and members of the Society adhere to and promote ethical principles and the code of professional practice (the original document is available here). Trainees at the advanced and diploma levels commit themselves to doing the same by becoming members of the Society.
ISAL is a member of the European Group Analytic Training Institutions Network (EGATIN) and collaborates with the Institute of Group Analysis, London.
