Qualifying course

The qualifying course trains participants for independent group analytic work.

Eligible candidates are those who have successfully completed the advanced course in group analysis and work with groups.

The programme takes two years.

Training consists of experiential small and median groups, group supervision, and seminar. The candidate conducts a small analytic group under supervision.

When all the conditions laid out in the Rules have been met, including the submission of a positively assessed clinical paper, the candidate is awarded a Diploma in Group Analysis and the title of Group Analyst.

Terms and conditions for admission to and conclusion of each course are detailed in the Rules of Group Analytic Training (the original document is available here).
